These Terms of Service govern your use of CatsRoulette and your submission of cat photos and information to catsroulette.com. By using the service or submitting content, you agree to these Terms.

1. About CatsRoulette

CatsRoulette is an entertainment website for discovering real cats from around the world. Features may include the random-cat roulette, Cat of the Day, Map, In Memory, cat profiles, submissions, donations, and advertising.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit content or make a payment on your own. If you are under 18, you may do so only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Cat submissions and submission fees

Submitting a cat requires a one-time submission fee. Card submissions are charged US$1. For users in Brazil who choose PIX, the minimum submission payment is R$5,00 and payment may be processed through LivePix. There is no subscription and there are no recurring submission charges. Payment does not guarantee publication. Every submission may be manually reviewed before publication.

The submission fee is non-refundable, including when a submission is rejected, withdrawn, duplicated, or later removed, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

4. Moderation

CatsRoulette may approve, reject, correct, edit, or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary to maintain quality, accuracy, safety, legal compliance, or the purpose of the site. Minor corrections may include spelling, formatting, location names, or presentation.

5. Your photos and content

You keep ownership of content you own. By submitting a photo, text, or other content, you confirm that you own it or have sufficient permission to submit and publish it.

You grant CatsRoulette a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and use the submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, present, promote, and share CatsRoulette. This license does not transfer ownership of your photo to CatsRoulette.

6. Prohibited content

You may not submit content that is unlawful, stolen, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, intentionally misleading, invasive of another person's privacy, infringing of copyright or other rights, or otherwise inappropriate for a general-audience cat website.

7. Corrections and removals

If you are the owner of, or otherwise authorized to act for, a cat or photo shown on CatsRoulette, you may request a correction or removal through the Contact Us page. We may request reasonable information to verify the request.

8. Donations

Donations are voluntary and do not provide preferential treatment, increased visibility, influence over moderation, or any advantage in Cat of the Day selection. Public supporter information is shown only when the donor chooses that option.

9. Cat of the Day and site features

Cat of the Day and other random or rotating features are provided for entertainment. Participation, selection, placement, visibility, or continued availability is not guaranteed.

10. Availability and changes

CatsRoulette may change, suspend, add, or discontinue features and may experience interruptions or errors. We do not guarantee that the service or any particular cat profile will remain available forever.

11. Third-party services

The site may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment, hosting, infrastructure, advertising, or external supporter links. CatsRoulette is not responsible for third-party websites or services and their separate terms and privacy practices may apply.

12. Disclaimer and limitation

CatsRoulette is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CatsRoulette makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose and will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The current version will be posted on this page with its latest update date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
